The School

Beyond being the premier business school in London, LBS is an international institution that is ranked in a number of rankings publications, including the Financial Times. The school's academic strength and international orientation helps create the world's top business leaders. 

Located in central London, LBS' Sussex Place location means that students are close to everything, including the "City" of London (financial district), as well as public transport and all manner of great restaurants. Notably, John Nash, the same architect who designed Buckingham Palace, designed the London Business School building. 

LBS also has a campus in Dubai. 

Entry Requirements

Some 200+ students are accepted into the Masters in Management each year. 

To apply, you should have completed your undergraduate degree within the past two years. 

You must also take the GMAT. While there is no minimum GMAT score, it's suggested that you score at least 600 or above. 

You will also need to submit application essays. These are your opportunity to tell the school more about yourself, and explain your interests and goals. It is recommended that you spend a significant amount of time on your essays, as these are a vital part of your MiM application. 

one-page CV is also required. 

If English is not your first language, and if you have studied in a language other than English, you will also need to demonstrate your English ability through one of the following tests:  IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge CPE, CAE or PTE Academic. 

You should also submit copies of your university transcripts. If you have not yet completed your degree, you should submit a transcript that is current as of the time of application.

The application fee will need to be paid at the time of applying. 

Finally, you will also need to submit the names and contact details of two referees, preferably one academic and one professional. Pleae note that your referees do not need to submit letters of recommendation. 

Tuition and Fees

Tuition fees for the Masters in Management 2020 intake are £33,600

Financial Aid

London Business School can provide a range of Masters in Management scholarships to top students. These include:

  • Laidlaw Women's Leadership Fund: covers 100% of the MiM tuition fees
  • The General Sir Monash Awards: open to Australian citizens 
  • Stolyarenko Scholarship: open to Russian nationals only
  • Palm Hills Scholarship: valued at 35,000 GBP, this scholarship is open to MiM applicants from Africa
  • Graduating Class Gift: open to all successfully Masters in Management applicants
  • London Business School Fellowship: those who enroll in one of the Early Career master's programs (including the Masters in Management) will be eligible to apply for this fellowship
