The School

The Cranfield School of Management is Cranfield University's business school. Although the School of Management was established in 1967, the university itself was founded in 1946.

Many of the school's master's programs feature prominently in some of the world's most important rankings publications. For instance, in the Masters in Management Ranking from the newsmagazine The Economist, Cranfield's Management MSc was ranked 1st in the world and 7th overall. The school has also been featured in rankings from The Financial Times and Forbes.

The school is located in Bedfordshire UK, which is about two hours away from London by train. 

Management MSc

Cranfield's Management MSc is a top-ranked management course which will help you gain the knowledge and practical skills that will enable you to address today's complex business challenges.

The Management MSc program is 13 months long and includes the following compulsory modules:

  • Leading Corporate Sustainability
  • Managing Operations
  • Organisational Behaviour: Application
  • Marketing Management
  • Evidence-based Management
  • Strategic Management
  • Accounting and Finance
  • People Management and Leadership

Elective modules range from topics in entrepreneurship to project management and supply chain management, among others.

Internship Component

The Management MSc also includes a three-month internship placement with a business. This will provide you with practical experience in a real-world environment, and allow you to put your knowledge and skills to work. 

In 2017 / 2018, more than 80% of students had a paid internship project. Students have worked with a number of companies, including the following:

Entry Requirements

To apply for the Management MSc program, you should have either a first or second class UK honours degree in a relevant discipline, or the equivalent international degree.

Candidates who do not have either may be considered if they have a professional qualification, plus at least five years of post-qualification work experience.

Other relevant qualifications, together with significant experience, may be considered.

International students will also need to provide evidence of English-language skills, through the IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson PTE, or another test.

There are a number of scholarships and other funding opportunities for the MSc Management program. Here's a selection of what's currently available:

School of Management UK/EU Scholarships: these scholarships cover 20% of the program's tuition fee. They are awarded to UK / EU students.

Cranfield Scholarships: A limited number of opportunities are available. These are designed to recognise academic success.

The SpotCap Fintech Fellowship: Valued at up to 8,000 GBP for UK students pursuing a degree related to financial technology.
