What is the difference between a Master’s in Management and a specialized business master’s degree?

I'm very interested in pursuing a degree in business studies.

But I'm a bit uncertain about whether I should pursue an MiM or something more specialized.

Could somebody please advise?

A MiM program is a general business management degree that covers a wide variety of functions and industries, from strategy to finance and from marketing to accountancy. In contrast, specialized business master’s degrees focus solely on one subject, such as business analytics or quantitative finance.

In that sense, MiM programs cover greater breadth, setting up candidates for a wide array of career paths, whereas niche programs go into greater depth in one business area.
