The School

Shanghai Jaio Tong University's Antai College of Economics and Management is ranked among the best business schools in China. 

The school is 'triple accredited,' meaning it holds accreditation from the three main international business school accreditation organizations: AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB. This means that the programs on offer are all world-class offerings vetted by some of the best institutions in the world.

Likewise, the school is also ranked in the Master in Management ranking from the Financial Times.

The Antai College is housed in the historic Xuhui campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Master in International Business

The Master in International Business is a two-year program aimed at early career professionals who are interested in global exposure, rooted in China's business culture.

The program's foundation courses include:

  • Chinese Language
  • Chinese Culture
  • International Economics
  • Management Essentials and Leadership Art
  • Chinese Economy
  • Research Methods in Business and Management
  • Financial Management

Elective courses cover topics in Business Economics, Cross-cultural Management, Strategic Management, and others.

The program also includes an internship and various exchange options, including a study tour.

 

Entry Requirements

To apply for the Master in International Business, prospective students should be non-Chinese citizens, and not currently registered in STJU at the same degree level.

Prospective applicants should have outstanding academic performance, and have obtained a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.

Applicants will also be required to demonstrate English proficency. 

Tuition and Fees

Tuition for the entire program is RMB 188,000. This will be paid in two installments.

Financial Aid

The Antai College offers a range of scholarship options for its business master's students. Scholarships are usually available for two to three years and cover at least some of the course's tuition, and also include a monthly stipend ranging from 1,700 to 3,000 RMB per month.

Applicants can apply for the scholarships online. Some applicants may also be able to apply for scholarships through Chinese embassies or consulates in their home countries.

A formal offer of scholarships will be included in admissions letters.

Some applicants can also get additional financial support by applying for TA or RA positions on campus.
