MSc in Management (MiM)

Programme for the Digital Age

The CUHK MSc in Management (MiM) is a one-year full-time pre-experience programme specifically designed to develop skills needed in the fast-moving world. The curriculum provides in-depth, practical understanding of real-life business challenges and drives students to find cutting-edge solutions. The practice-oriented teaching is supported by a fully integrated programme that makes you aware of today's business issues, provides hands-on experience in putting theories into practice and helps hone your interpersonal skills and professional resilience.

 

The MiM programme offers practical and innovative courses for Big Data, FinTech, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, Global Supply Chain, Business Innovation and Corporate Governance.  

 

The programme features a MiM Capstone which provides students with an incredible opportunity to see businesses up close and personal. The course allows students to act as a consultant, work with C-Suite executives and apply the knowledge to solve real world business problems in Asia's emerging markets.

 

The MiM programme offers a dedicated Career Management Centre that provides students with career services. The centre's professionals will help students set and achieve their career goals, preparing them to enter the job market and become a real game-changer. You will also be exposed to potential job opportunities through company visits, recruitment talks, career fairs and online career resources.

Entry Requirements

  • A recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline (normally with second class honours or B grade or above) or equivalent professional qualification. Fresh or recent graduates with limited business experience are welcome to apply.
  • A good score in GMAT or GRE
  • Fulfil English language proficiency requirements

 

Application Procedure

Application will be processed on a rolling basis until all places have been filled. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible for the best chance of achieving a place. The application deadline may be closed early if places are no longer available.

Tuition and Fees

The total tuition for new students being admitted in the 2023-24 academic year is HK$345,000 for the whole programme, plus an additional fee of HK$14,500 for MiM Capstone*.

*The Capstone supplementary fee covers airfare and accommodation of a 2-week international study trip.

Scholarships

At CUHK, we recognise candidates with outstanding academic achievements as well as personal and professional accomplishments.

 

Admission scholarships

Students with outstanding entrance qualifications may be awarded up to the full tuition amount. All applicants with full applications submitted are eligible and will be automatically considered; no separate application is required.

International students who demonstrate excellent academic performance and are able to increase the diversity of the student body will be considered favourably.

 

Loans for non-local students

Prodigy Finance offers postgraduate loans for students studying abroad. The loans can cover only tuition and are not available to citizens and permanent residents of Hong Kong.

Under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) scheme, non-local graduates are eligible to stay in Hong Kong without any restrictions for 12 months after graduation to seek employment.
