Many applicants from all around the world are increasingly pursuing Masters in Management (MiM) programs in Asia. The diversity of the continent—in terms of business cultures, course offerings, and the experiences available to MiM students—means that Asia has something for everybody.
The options for those interested in pursuing an MiM program or specialized business master's degree in Asia are almost limitless. Countries like China, India, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Japan all offer business masters degrees that are accredited by at least one of the three main MiM accreditation agencies: AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB. Not only that, an increasing number of business MSc programs—as well as Masters in Finance programs—in Asia are ranked in some of the most famous international ranking bodies, such as the Financial Times.
Beyond Masters in Management programs, business schools in Asia offer a range of other business masters degrees, including Masters in Finance courses, MScs in Supply Chain Management, Masters in Accounting degrees, Masters in Business Analytics courses, and many, many more.
Although there is a huge diversity in the languages spoken on the continent, many of the best internationally-facing business schools will offer Masters in Management programs in English, meaning that students from all over the world can study in a language in which they are comfortable. Not to fret, though, many students who study MiM programs in Asia will be able to pick up at least some of the local language during their studies. This is especially important for those who want to work in the country where they study after graduating.
On this note, many graduates of MiM programs in Asia do stay and work after graduation, especially in places like Hong Kong and Singapore, that are internationally-oriented and generally welcoming to an international workforce.
